Outfox gaming VPN now supports Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and Battlefield 1

Outfox is one of the few VPN services aimed towards gamers. You could ask yourself : why a VPN for gaming? Doesn't it add latency instead of reducing it?
Unlike traditional VPN services, Outfox by Golden Frog aims to reduce lag, lower ping and increase speed by only redirecting your gaming traffic.

Outfox supported games

Outfox now supports:

  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch
  • Dota 2
  • Starcraft
  • Heroes of the storm
  • Smite
  • H1Z1
  • Team Fortress 2
  • Street Fighter V
  • World of Tanks
  • PUBG (PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds)
  • Rocket League
  • Rainbox Six Siege
  • BattleField 1

How it works

Lag and ping to gaming servers is usually dependent on something called peering. But what is peering?

Peering differs from one ISP to another, because it's the route your data takes when it leaves your ISP's network. It all depends on which contracts were signed between Comcast or whoever your ISP is, and transit operators like Hurricane Electric.
Sometimes, your ISP does not have the shortest route to your favorite games' servers.

Outfox network

Outfox was made by the same company that created VyperVPN and one of the most respected Usenet provider: GigaNews.
Currently they have 23 server locations dedicated for Outfox.

Where to get it?

Outfox is currently in beta, so it's completely free to try it by creating an account at getoutfox.com.
